oops! I put all 2.5 oz bottle into my 12-Gal gas tank before I knew it. Is this a problem? I'm supposed to do the emission test three days later.
Jim. Not to worry. The treatment ratio is 1 oz. per 10 gallons but over treating does not create problems.

I used your product....both the gas kicker, and non-concentrated rxp...found via your online links. After 500 miles on my Acura NSX w/57000 miles on it....I noticed a stronger, smoother engine. The idle...once rumbled....now its back to a nice smooth purr... This stuff is awesome....as others mentioned...it is rather difficult to find...called 6 AutoZones in my area...and they all said they were sold out... As I did and would suggest to others...BUY RXP ONLINE.....

I have a 1985 FJ60 LandCruiser. It did not pass smog, and I used your product, but that was not the issue. My carburetor was connected incorrectly to the vacuum lines, and the same mechanic who messed that up, mixed up the parts inside as well.
I am certain RxP cleaned the carbonization out of the system, as when the $500 carburetor rebuild was finished, the NO emmisions were 1/2 of the average for similar vehicles, well below the failing level for emissions.
On the gas mileage front, the carburetor expert (carbshop.com, Costa Mesa, CA) said I would not get any better mileage.
As I did not have a scientific control for this project, I have no way of knowing for certain what factors applied for my mileage change.
I do know that when the carburetor specialist had the idle at 200 RPM over factory spec, that I seemed to get less than 10 mpg.
After thinking about his claim that the idle had to be fast in order to keep the engine running with the additives in the fuel in California, I decided it couldn't hurt to try it at the factory idle speed (550-650 RPM)
My engine runs fine.
I checked the mileage after setting the idle correctly, and I got 14 MPG!
This is only on one fill-up, but it is better than I have ever had, and it is better mileage than I have ever heard of from all of the LandCruiser owners who address this issue.
I stongly suspect the RxP is the source of the mileage increase.
I have ordered more RxP, as it is hard to find in the stores.
Thanks for a great product, that actually works!

I had to report the following to you, because I think it is nothing less than amazing! I may just have for you one of the most dramatic differences in before and after emission test readings. I have a 1994 Isuzu Rodeo 4WD 3.2 V6 32 valve with 83,400 miles on it and 8 days ago I failed my emissions test in the stated of Colorado. I passed everything but the HC. I scored a 503 HC PPM reading at idle and a 460 HC PPM at 2500 RPM. The cutoffs to pass are 220. So I was emitting roughly double the legal limit for HC. I bought a bottle of RxP Gas Kicker and filled my gas tank with the lowest octane gas (85). I drove my truck roughly 350 miles burning the entire tank of gas on a highway averaging 3300 rpms and an avg. speed of 83 mph. I then refilled my gas tank with the same gas and another bottle of Rxp Gas Kicker. I drove my car on the highway for an hour and went straight to the emissions test. I passed the test - but are you ready for this? For HC, I scored a 3 PPM at Idle and a 2 at 2500 rpm. That is not a misprint! A 3 and a 2!!! The guys at Jiffy Lube were looking at me like I was an alien or something when they gave me the paper! They said it was the lowest readings they had ever seen on any car that they've tested - including new cars! Also, my CO reading before using Rxp was a 1.08 and on this retest it was a 0.00% (thats right! - a zero!) at idle and a 0.02% at 2500 rpm. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE!!!! WHAT A TREMENDOUS PRODUCT!!!!!!! HC LEVELS DROPPED FROM A 500 TO A 2 !!!!!!! A 97.5% DECREASE!!!!! I HAVE THE PRINTOUTS FOR PROOF!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! -J.L Northern Colorado

i own an 1989 chevy camaro i recently have spent about 1000 dollars trying to fix a problem in which when i start my car and it is cold and when i go to drive it for the first 10 minutes of driving it the engine makes a popping sound about 1 to 3 pops in rapid succession which sligtly delays acceleration and then the car accellerates normally the repairs have not fixed this problem does this sound like it could be a carbon build up in the engine keep in mind i have changed the timeing chain and the fuel pump and the diaphram plus fixed any vacume leaks

A clerk at a NAPA store tipped me off about RXP as I had just failed to get my 1987 Dakota inspected. I used your little red 2 1/2 oz. bomb and the ol' heap passed! The CO and CO2 numbers on the test were radically different. Like night and day! I don't know what's in in but the $6.95 I paid for your Gas Kicker beat the $45 that hustling mechanic wanted for a carburetor tune-up!

I was not really looking for a mileage increase, just a clean engine. I have tried a lot of other products which claim to "clean the fuel system", but I either have had a very clean fuel system, or the stuff did not work.
I used RxP because I needed to get my 1985 FJ60 LanCuiser to pass smog (turned out to be a carburetor problem). RxP did indeed reduce the NOX emmisions dramatically.
I check my mileage every time I fill up (I always have), and after using RxP I got 19 mpg. Well, that seemed a little extreme so I kept checking. I never got that high of MPG again, and I got as low as 12.x MPG. It was at this time that I discovered that the RxP level seemed to need to be at full dosage for mileage improvement. Keeping the engine clean is easier than keeping the MPGs up, so you can apply RxP every other tank or so and keep the system clean, but the MPG falls off as the concentration of RxP diminishes.
I discoverd that at one gas staion my mileage was worse than I thought it should be, and when I went to another station, my mileage improved. I have decided the most likely reason for this is that the one station does not give a gallon of gas for every gallon paid for.
Anyway, I seem to be getting 15.x to 16.x MPG using the same gas station, and a full amount of RxP additive per tank. My tank is 38 gallons, so that take a bit more RxP.
The only problem is that I cannot find RxP in sufficient quantities, and I'm in Southern California. The most RxP I have found was 2 bottles at an Autozone, and have not seen any locally since.
With gas prices as high as they are in California, RxP more than pays for it's self in overall reduced fuel economy. In otehr words, even spending the extra for RxP, I still save money because of the inceased fuel economy.

Hey Ron (hey you up there) I've had the same great luck using rxp in my toyota. I also had a hard time finding it. But then one day I was poking around on this site (rxp.com) and i discovered a little secret. if you go to the main menu page, click the "store location" link, it has a link for buying it online. the one that has the rxp logo leads you to a 2 for one deal (so you get it cheaper). My husband orders from there all the time now. good luck. Kay.

This product reduced my HC level to 1.19 on my re-test.On my original inspection, the HC level was 4.25 and the state limit is 2.00,so I passed that part. When it came to reducing NOx,THE PRODUCT FAILED,so I failed the inspection.State limit in Massachusetts for NOx is 3.00 and my test registered at 4.64.I was really mad. The RXP DID NOT reduce the NOx as it was supposed to. I used the product following the instructions exactly. I now have to shell out $29.00 for another inspection.I am sending in my receipt to RxP to get a full refund including the sales tax. I will attempt to see if the product makes my car pass inspection after I get my refund. I will buy the product again and try it again. If it doesn't work again,I know they'll send me another refund check. Then I'll try again using RxP and keep my fingers crossed.I'm not happy with this product thus far.

Hi Marco. I'm from your area. I failed my my first test too. NOx was 4.98. So I did the same thing you did. Bought RxP and followed the instructions. My next test showed NOx at 0.87. So it does work. Do you think maybe what ever the problem is with your car, it might not be something that can be fixed with an additive? You know like tune up or bad plug or wire. Maybe air filter, oil change?
Anyway, I just think that it dosen't make any sense at all to try again and again if you're absolutly sure the product dosen't work. I think Ben Franklin once said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Maybe this testing thing is getting to you.
Also, since you say you're just going to buy more and more and keep getting a refund, you're still going to be out the 30 dollars since rxp will only refund the money for the product you buy from them. Not the inspection.
well. good luck. you sound like you need it.

I was initially unable to pass the emissions test so I did some research on the internet and found your product. Normally I would not add anything to my fuel but I had no alterantive but to try. It costs several hundred dollars to replace the catalytic converter. So I bought some RXP at a local Auto Zone auto parts store. I went from 1184 to 823, just barely passing. I think I would have done a little better if I had changed my oil and filter before having it tested. But I did not have any of this valuable information initially. I would recommend RXP to anyone. I even have increased my gas mileage since using this product!! It's great!!
The mechanic was stunned -- he could not figure out what I did to get such a drastic change in my emission reading!!
Just remember, before going to get your vehicle inspected: - Change oil filter and oil - Don't run your air conditioner - Fill up your tank with Extra Grade Unleaded gasoline - Add RXP to your fuel - Run about half that tank out - Then go get your car inspected
Hope this helps someone cause it saved me a bundle of cash!!
Thanks again, RXP!!

Almost failed the last emissions test on my '94 Saturn so was dreading the anticipated expense for this test. An Internet search helped me find RXP and I tried it, using the suggestions of other car owners, driving 70 - 75 mph on the Interstate for 45 miles and then going directly to the test site.
My car passed easily! What a relief! Huge thanks for this great product!

Have used RXP for years n Texas. I've moved east to Maryland and had a difficult time finding the product. After some time I found an Autozone store that had on the shelf two bottles. I questioned why they had only two they had no answer. As time went on I would visit that store and it was hit or miss, sometime they had RXP but most of the time the did not. Yesterday I went to the same Autozone store and no one knew anything about RXP. Each time I was in that particular store I would praise the product thinking that would encourage them to continue to carry the product and maybe even stock more that a few bottles. This is the only product I've ever used that did what it said it would do. I've gone into many other Auto supply stores looking for RXP but can't find it. I've never seen a product so hard to find. What do you suggest?

Had a 1988 vehicle inspected that has been sitting idle with 1/2 tank of gas for the past 6 months. Not real keen on driving, so rather than drive enough to burn all the old fuel, just drove it 1/2 hour on the highway before adding RXP and filling up the tank. Took a lunch break, drove it another another 1/2 hour on the highway before pulling into the inspection station. They ran a high speed emission test and the truck passed with flying colors. Your product speaks for itself. Thanks.

Since most cars (particulary foreign makes) do not have gas tans that come in 10 gallon increments why not put ounce marker lines on the side of your bottles to help us use the proper amount?
I wonder if it could be that you hope we use the whole bottle for an 18 (or similiarly uneven numbered capacity tank) so that we will consume more product.
Actually, if I could use just partial bottles of just the exact amount needed I could afford to use your product in both of my cars at every other fillup. As it is, with the higher cost of fuel this is not possible for me .
There is an open strip where both ends of the yellow label does not meet that would be a good place for ounce indicator lines in 1/2 ounce increments.
In today's marketplace the business that makes it easy for it's customers to use it's product or service will be the one that prospers the most!

THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING,AND IT WORKS!!!! I own a late 80's Chevy Camaro with a V8 engine. It has EXTREMELY HIGH MILAGE. My vehicle passed the Massachusetts State Emissions test with flying colors. Now listen to this. MY CAR DOES NOT HAVE A FUNCTIONING CATALYTIC CONVERTER,AND IT PASSED!! I used the RXP AS DIRECTED and I passed. 3 days before the test, I changed the oil and filter, cleaned the intake with intake cleaner, and cleaned the PCV valve. I put in the RXP on the day of the test and then added 7 gallons of gas to the tank a few minutes later. I drove for 90 minutes(my own choice),and then went to take the emissions test.I PASSED. I recommend this product highly,BECAUSE IT WORKS. THANK YOU TO THE MAKERS OF RXP !!!

I have a 1991 Mercury Sable 3.0 V6. It has 110,000 miles on it, and had been running real rough and without a lot of power. I had the vehicle tuned up, oil and filter changed, air filter changed, and nothing seemed to help.
I found RxP online and ordered the 4-bottle special. I tried it about 2 weeks ago, and at first I thought that I had made a mistake because initially it ran very rough and almost stalled, but I remembered that it said that the decarbonization process took a little while.
I drove the car for 30 minutes, and as each minute passed, I could feel the car getting more and more power, and running much smoother. I was looking to buy a new car next year, but I think I will wait now.
This car is running better than it has in about 5 years. I would recommend it to anyone with a older, high mileage vehicle. Just remember to be patient and give it a chance to work.

Having participated in the FDOT RxP trial program in our fleet vehicles, I tried out RxP in my personal vehicle, a 1990 Volvo 780 (4-cyl turbo, 115,000 miles.) I added 1/2 bottle to about 15-17 gallons of gas at refills. My gas milage for 3 bottles (6 tankfuls) increase by about 25% (16+/- mpg to 20+/- mpg) using the additive. Needless to say, I was very pleased.

I purchased a 1995 GMC Yukon with over 100,000 mile on it. Drove about 800 miles (2 fill-ups...30 gallon tank)getting about 13 miles per gallon. Having used RxP in my 1994 Jaguar XJ6 (253,000 miles on it thanks to Leon Kaplan, Motorman, KABC Talk Radio) I gave it a try in the Yukon. By the end of of the second tank of fuel, I had gone from 13 MPG to 17 MPG. At $3.00 per gallon of fuel, give or take a quarter, and an average of 25 gallons per fill-up, a bottle of RxP in every tank puts me ahead more than $20.00 each time. The Jaguar gets a consistent 27.4 MPG.
I would be more than willing to pay an extra 15 or 20 cents per gallon of gas at the pumps if the oil industry would address the value of this product and have it in their mix. The money would come back quickly in with the better gas mileage and ease of passing the smog tests here in California.

Your prodect did improve gas millage by about 15% but the $4 .00 cost per tank for the RXP saved $4.00, is it over priced? The only davantage I see is another 55 miles per tank. mkrugman@tampabay.rr.com

I was more than impressed when I called RXP this morning. Fernado was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful.
My husbands work truck was not passing emissions, and with one day left I was almost in a panic. I definately didn't want to start replacing parts like the converter (no matter what the mechanic said) After reading the reviews on various sites I decided to give it a shot.
I'm sitting here in SHOCK at the results! NOx went from 2.75 to 0.17 and HC went from a whopping 3.75 to 0.58 Yes you are reading it right, an average overall reduction of over 93%.
RXP now has a loyal customer for life! Thank you!!!

I almost gave up on a good car due to it's failure to pass emissions. I poured over $300 into useless repairs. I found this product and decided one more try before giving up. For all you skeptics out there, this stuff works. My readings were off the chart (CO was 4 times the standard) but after following the directions the emissions dropped well below the standards. What have you got to lose???? $6.99!

RxP Your Rocks !
I almost gave up on passing the e-test. My car an Accord 1994-EX, mileage 225K had CO% readings in August'05 of 0.68. I now passed the e-test and the CO% is 0.23, way below the limit of 0.35. All other readings were below the maximum limits. What did I do ? Bought 6 bottles of RxP, poured 1 bottle each time I tanked, drove my car for a month, changed oil and air filter just before the test and passed ! I will recommend RxP, saved me money and time !
Great work !

On the bottle it dont say if you can use RxP in 4-wheelers or motor-cycles. I have a warrior 350 4-wheeler and i was wonderen if i could put it in my gas tank and I get the same results. If not then yall need 2 put that on your bottles so people dont screw up and do that.
