Welcome to RXP’s guestbook for 2004.
I use RXP to help me pass inspection and I think it does a good job at that.
I love Ed Wallace and listen to him every Saturday, he says to use it, so I do!
Please be aware that RXP states: "We don't change comments without saying so, but admit that this guest book has been broken more than once this year”
That was last year, Rick. So far we have not had any server problems in 2004. To all our guest: If you are not able to post a comment, or see other pages on this site, please go to the e-mail page and drop us a line. The sooner we know the sooner we can get the problem fixed. Thanks

Thank you all for doing what your doing. I failed the HC levels the other day in my 97 Chevy Tool Body. I am recently now a single mom and I have had a terrible crime commited against me , all my business equiptment was stolen , it then became part of a very long investigation , and needless to say my truck is all that is recovered ( it's been a year and a half ) also , ins.co.s and police do nothing to assist in recovery. This truck has cost me $$$ , then I FAIL the TEST , and they tell me anywhere from $500.00 - $2000.00 to pass. I almost had a heart attack. I just don't have the money . I went on line and have just found your site for RxP. I can't believe there is such a product , ( because I've asked every one ) I hope this product is everything I've just read it to be. You will make such a difference in my life ! I just can't be without transportation again.I will let you all know how I make out , I've got to go find this product ( it's a big deal where I live ) the stores are far and few between. My son and I Thank you , ( for hope ) and I hope to thank you soon for results, Sincerely , Claudia DuBois

Dear Staff,
After purchasing your RXP product for my 1987 Toyota, I found the product made no difference in improving the performance of my engine. How do I go about getting my refund?
Notice above: "We do not automatically capture your e-mail address from this page." Therefore we have no way of contacting you. Our address is on the back of the bottle and you can easily find it on this site. Just send proof of purchase to our address requesting a refund. If you would like to know why your vehicle did not respond to RxP, contact our technician (Duane Fisher). If the RxP didn't work you either have a serious problem or the engine was not getting enough fuel or air (see instructions). To understand how RxP works click here. Thanks

The email addresses I tried did not work. I hope I can get some form of response.
Just wanted to say thank you for adding our logo and website link to your store locator page. We have already seen results from it. Got a large order on Monday from a customer who probably linked from your site.
I would like to send a better image of our logo. I tried sending it by email to the webmaster's and the president's email addresses, but neither address seemed to be valid. Please provide an email address so I can forward it to the appropriate person.
If you would like to contact me, I can be reached at [number has been removed] or by email helen [at] midwayautosupply.com.

I can't really add to what has already been said, but you have a great product...used it last year in a '90 Chevy Lumina(110000 miles) after failing our state's lovely emission test. Went back after running RXP thru it, and passed with flying colors. About to have this car inspected again along with my 89 CHev P/U, and am going to put RXP in first this time just to avoid any hassles....Love your product!!! A+++++++

How come you repeatedly say (web site) 1 oz treats 10 gallons of gas yet on the label of the bottle it states 20 gallons? I'm a little confused.
Appreciate your clearing this up.
Jim
Thanks for the question - The label does say, "This Bottle Treats Up To 25 Gallons (95 Liters)." The bottle holds 2.5 ounces, which works out to one ounce per ten gallons. Also, under the logo on the front of the bottle on the very bottom line it says,"One Ounce Treats 10 Gallons." Sorry for the confusion.

how do u compare to fuelon and is this the same stuff in a different bottle?
We are not in any way affiliated with Fuelon. There is a comparison posted at http://www.rxp.com/fuelon.htm. This comparison is based on what is said on the packaging. They don't have test data posted on their web site, so we don't have any other way to compare. They sell on the Internet and advertise for distributors, which is a much different approach to the market. As you know we sell RxP through leading retail stores.

I have a Mercedez with 285,000 miles and has never had the head removed. As usual there will be a goodly about of carbond deposits in the cylinder head. If I put this addative into my gas, what are the chances of that carbon breaking loose and lodging into the valve top and causing the valve head/top to burn though thus requiring the replacement of valves?
I the compustion temperture to rise what is to assure that the engine will not over heat? What is to assure that under the higher temps in the cylinder head that the head gasket will not burn through? I the engine develops more power, what is to assure that old parts (19 years and 285,000 miles), i.e., crank shaft, bearings, etc will not fracture?
In 15 years we have sold millions of bottles of RxP and haven't damaged an engine yet. This is because RxP acts similar to water injection (causing the carbon to be consumed during combustion and the residual to be expelled as a fine powder). This is unlike solvents, which can cause the release of pieces of carbon. RxP also reduces radiant heat (see the theory of Radiant Containment posted at the bottom of http://www.rxp.com/Fuel%20Economy.htm). Coincidentally, our product liability insurance agent bought an old Mercedes with over 200,000 miles, which was running poorly. He remains amazed at how RxP has "straightened out" his engine. If you would like more information about your particular engine, contact our technician (Duane Fisher).

I READ SEVERAL LABELS ON DIFERENT PRODUCTS ON HOW WHAT THEY DO FOR YOUR VEHICLE. I CHOSE RXP THINKING IT WAS THE BEST PRODUCT BECAUSE MY HC IN MY VEHICLE WERE A LITTLE HIGH.I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS AND INSTEAD OF HELPING IT MADE WORST.
See http://www.rxp.com/how.htm. After adding RxP to an engine that is getting the proper amount of fuel and air the emissions should "begin to drop dramatically, but then begin to increase as the engine is being decarbonized. After the de-carbonization process is completed the emissions begin a steady decline as the carbon deposits are exhausted. Actual length of time varies depending on the condition of the engine." Don't think you allowed RxP enough time to de-carbonize the engine. If you would like more information about your particular engine, contact our technician (Duane Fisher).

I tried a bottle and followed the directions very carefully. It didn't make a single change to my DEQ and the car didn't seem to have any more power. During the rest of the tank, the engine would occasionally stumble. I don't recommend RXP.
What is a DEQ? The only reason RxP won't work is if the engine is not getting enough fuel or air. After checking that if your engine is "stumbling" then it was more than likely being decarbonized, which takes time - especially on older high-mileage engines. We will be more than happy to help you. Drop Fish a line (see the comment just over this one).

Last week my 1985 Ranger with 300k miles failed the Texas Emission test. They told me the HC was too high. Today I went to O'Rileys auto parts to tune up my truck. The clerk told me to use RxP. I put it in and drove 25 miles to the inspection place that turned me down last week. The inspector wanted to know if I worked on the truck, "yes, I tuned it up" I said. 10 minutes later while he was placing my new inspection sticker, I told him what I used. The test results were at or below average!

1992 Plymouth Voyager 3.0 Liter V-6 125,000 miles would not pass emmissions test, even after new plugs and oxygen sensor. I was told I needed a new catalytic converter and a new head for the engine to allieviate oil seepage caused by valve guides that had dropped. I ran the car with RXP for a couple weeks and added some just before the test -warmthed up the car on the highway and went in for the test. Result -Passed with flying colors -the Technician couldn't believe that an additive could have such dramatic results--Saved over $800 in unnecessary work. Plan to add RXP Monthly to help keep the car in shape. Thanks Ron M.

I initially had problems locating RXP in the Phoenix metro area. I had visited many SuperWalmarts, Pepboys, and Autozones and they had not heard of the product. I contacted the company and they promply found an AutoZone in Tempe at Broadway and Mill which had some in stock. The RXP was waiting for me behind the counter when I showed up.
My 1988 Acura Integra with 150K miles now runs better than it has in years. Emission test results were as follows:
Test Before RXP After RXP
HC 1.48 1.1 CO 13.64 11.01 NOX 2.53 2.35

My uncle recently bought a car. But when he was checking the car, he said he will only buy the car if it passes emission test. But it failed. PepBoys told us it is going to cost us around $500 to fix it. But somebody overheard us and told us to use 2 bottles of RXP which costs $7 each instead of that much money. And my uncle did the same and he passed the emission test.

I wanted to drop your company a line about how pleased I am with your product. Earlier this week while on vacation my suv began idleing roughly, and was having trouble restarting the motor. I decided to stop at an O'reilys Auto store and buy a bottle of RXP. Within ten minutes my suv was running like a top. Thank you for an excellent product. It saved our vacation.

Thanks for a great product.
I have a 95 Saturn with 118,000 miles. My HC level failed the first inspection at 248 ppm (220 ppm is max allowable). A full tank of gas with one bottle of RXP and a 30-minute prayerful drive back to the inspection station yielded an HC count of 48 ppm. 48!!!

None of the stores advertised on your website (advance, o'riely, autozone) have ever heard of your product. I'm a Dallas transplant that has been here since January, and would like to keep rxp in my vehicle ,btw Adams county -here in Quincy-doesn't require emissions testing, maybe that's why rxp is not in this market. can I by it online? Thanks
We spoke with Nathan at the AutoZone store in Quincy located at 3510 East Broadway (telephone (217) 222-9165). He said they have plenty in stock. Thanks

Hello, I will keep it short. I just transferred to Fredericksburg, Virginia. I was living in Fort Worth Texas where Ed Wallace turned me on to RXP. I use RXP in every tank of my 31 Ford Model A deluxe Coupe. I just used my last bottle of RXP and I am having trouble finding it here in Fredericksburg Virginia. I have tried AutoZone and Wal-Mart with no luck? Could you please give me some feedback? I could get it in Ft. Worth very easy. Thanks Stan Musick StanMusick@msn.com (540-891-4421) Running On Empty! In addition, I miss listening to Ed Wallace!
Stan was referred to the AutoZone site for a store in his area. To listen to Ed Wallace on-line please visit:

Very happy with your product! Quick recap for my 5 smog tests (yes, 5!):
1. FAIL - Emissions barely passed, but RPM way too high, ignition timing off due to high RPM (according to smogman1), & no gas cap (doh!). 2. FAIL - Lowering RPM raised emissions (HC went from 113 to 118, MAX=115!) ignition timing way off: 15'BTDC (should be 0'), new gas cap passed:) 3. FAIL - Timing was set closest to 0' possible (5'BTDC)by adjusting distributor, but smogman2 says emissions still failed, along with his computer which left me with no printout! Goodbye smogman2... 4. FAIL - Had RXP in for 1/2 day(+/- 4hrs drive time) - Emissions failed (HC at 152, MAX=115) - cleaning out carbons no doubt! Still, timing failed at 5'BTDC and new gas cap now failed! Time to look at timing chain. 5. PASS! - Drove for 1 week (1-1/2 tank-fulls over 13hrs), used 2nd RXP bottle, had timing chain replaced (broken tensioner), exchanged gas cap for another, and HC just under the wire at 115! I'm positive that replacing my timing kit could only help emissions very little. From #2 above, RXP lowered HC(-3%), CO(-53%), and NO(-62%) absolute proof for me. BTW, my ride is a 1987 toyota pickup with 169K miles - with another smog check due in 2 years - I will pass NO PROBLEM! Thank you RXP!

Dear sir, Thanks for a great product. My car is a 19 year old toyota mr2 with 126,000 miles and all original emission equipment. It failed the emission test after a tune up, new air filter, cap/rotor and an oil change. I use one bottle of rxp and my Hc decreased 56% , co 15% and Nox 21%. The emission tester said, "you can,t get a mechanic in a bottle". He's wrong. I passed. Thanks again
